Refund Policy

This policy governs the cancellation and refund conditions for services purchased through Atlantic Formations, operated by Atlantic Formations LLC. Our goal is simple: you should know upfront, and clearly, how much you will get back at each stage.

1. The core principle

A significant portion of our services involves irreversible filings made with government agencies on your behalf (the state formation fee, official filings). Your refund entitlement therefore depends on the stage your order has reached.

3. Non-refundable items

• Fees paid to government agencies (the state formation fee, Companies House incorporation and confirmation statement fees, expedited processing fees, apostille fees, etc.) — these amounts are not refunded to us by the government either.
• Completed services (e.g., a filed annual report, an issued EIN, a submitted official filing).
• Third-party charges (shipping, D&B processing fees, etc.).

4. Post-formation services

For additional services you request separately (EIN, annual report, registered agent renewal, etc.), if you cancel before work begins you receive a full refund of the amount paid. Once work has begun, the table above and the non-refundable items apply.

4.1 Special cases

• If we decline your application (identity could not be verified, a sanctions or country restriction applies, or the business does not meet our policy): if nothing has been filed, you receive a full refund.
• If the company name is taken at the time of filing: we ask you for a new name at no extra charge. If no suitable name can be found and nothing has been filed, you receive a full refund.
• If the authority rejects the filing because of an error or omission in the information you provided: we correct it and resubmit once without a service fee. If the authority charges a new fee, you pay that fee.
• If we cannot get a response from you: if the information or documents we request after payment do not arrive within 30 days, we may cancel the order after two reminders. Any refund follows the table above for the stage the order has reached.

5. Issues caused by us

If the problem originates with us, the table above does not apply: where a service cannot be performed due to an error on our part, we refund the fee for that service in full, including government fees, or — at your option — correct the error at no charge.

6. How to request a refund

1. Write to [email protected] with your order number (you can also reach us through your dashboard).
2. We review your request within 2 business days at the latest and confirm in writing which stage you are at and the refund amount.
3. Approved refunds are returned to the payment method you used (card or bank account) within 5–10 business days.

7. About chargebacks

If you experience a problem, please write to us first — our refund policy resolves most cases faster than banking processes. In the event of an unjustified chargeback attempt, records demonstrating that the service was performed will be submitted to the relevant payment institution.

8. Consumer rights

This policy does not eliminate your rights under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence. For purchases qualifying as distance contracts, your statutory withdrawal rights for services not yet commenced are reserved.

If you are a consumer, you may withdraw within 14 days of payment without giving a reason. Because you ask us to start work within that period, the value of the service performed up to your withdrawal (including government fees already paid) is deducted. Once the service has been fully performed, the right to withdraw ends to the extent permitted by applicable law. On withdrawal you never receive less than the amount shown in the table above.
